TODDLERS
Simply enter the Toddler room and you can feel the energy of these wide-eyed children. You can hear the excitement in their voices who are beginning to ask questions and say their favourite word, “No.” They are enjoying their newfound independence and have lots of favourite phrases as language emerges. The day has a bit more structure as they begin to learn new concepts such as colors, shapes and the days of the week. Toddlers enjoy building strong bonds with their teachers and peers. They learn social skills through some unwanted behaviors that are a normal part of development but with positive guidance and redirection we use them as opportunities for learning and development. If guided properly with positive reinforcement toddlers have an opportunity to develop great social skills that pave the way to great friendships ahead. The children in this group toddle around in groups of 5 with a maximum group number of fifteen children to three teachers.
